Step 1: Using a valve stem tool or the tip of a screwdriver let all of the air out of the tube.
You don't want to contact the tube with the tyre iron because it may puncture the tube. , Once you have is started place the tyre iron in again 8 inches (20.3 cm) or so from the last pry spot until one side of the tyre off of the wheel. ,, Pull the second half of the tyre off the rim. ,,, install valve stem cap to keep valve stem from falling back into the tyre. , Be careful not to contact the tube with irons. ,, Chain should move up an down about .5 inches (1.3 cm).
Rotate chain and check several places. , -
Step 2: Undo the wheel nuts or quick releases and remove the wheel.

Step 3: Remove the dust cap (if there is one).

Step 4: Put a tyre lever (not screwdriver) between the tire and the rim just far enough to hook the tire.

Step 5: Start prying the tyre off the rim.

Step 6: Push the valve stem (the tool you let the air out with) through the rim into the tyre.

Step 7: Pry the tyre with tyre iron to get started.

Step 8: Wipe inside of your new tyre to remove any rocks or other debris.

Step 9: Install first side of tyre (without tube) with your hands until you need the tyre irons.

Step 10: Place tube inside the half on tyre with the valve stem through the rim.

Step 11: Push second half of tyre as much as you can with your hands

Step 12: and finish with the tyre irons.

Step 13: If this tyre is for your kids bike put about 25 pounds of air in it.

Step 14: Place on bike adjusting chain if needed.

Step 15: Tighten nuts as if you were lifting 2 gallons (7.6 L) of milk (16 foot pounds).
