Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Work out how long your stick needs to be.

    You can do this by measuring the width of your bun and adding a couple of inches.
  2. Step 2: Go for a walk and collect some twigs.

  16. Step 16: Fold the sandpaper in half and use the edge to sand inside the cuts you have made for the design.

  17. Step 17: Go over the stick with fine sandpaper

  18. Step 18: folding it as you did with the medium to sand the cuts.

  19. Step 19: Use a nail buffer (or progressively finer sandpaper if you have it lying around) to get the stick really smooth.

  20. Step 20: Oil the stick.

  21. Step 21: Leave the stick for a couple of hours to soak up the oil.

  22. Step 22: Remove any excess oil with tissue.
