How to Equip a Shield as Demoman in Team Fortress 2 (TF2)
Go to your Loadout., Click the middle slot on the left side of the screen., Click on either a Charge'n'Targe, Splendid Screen, or Tide Turner., Return to the game.

Step 1: Go to your Loadout.
To do this, you can press M.
Make sure you are on the page for your currently equipped Loadout.
When you press M, the A, B, C, or D will be selected; don't change it. -
Step 2: Click the middle slot on the left side of the screen.
This is your shield slot., They all have their own unique benefits, but all will let you charge, after clicking one. , Touch the resupply cabinet, or you'll have it after you respawn.
