Step 1: Remove packaging and have a look on top edge of door for lock block.
Remember to keep this side to lock or latch other side for hinges. -
Step 2: Try your door into the standard.
Make sure you have a 3mm gap all the way round.
If not, plane to fit; being careful not to take too much off. , When you're happy with the fit of the door, measure down 150mm from top of door.
Do this on the hinge side and up 230mm from bottom.
Place your hinge inside your mark and draw round. , Keep the bevel edge down in check work your way up length of your mark, then flat side down and from edge of door remove timber from check. ,,, -
Step 3: Measure.

Step 4: Using a 20mm chisel

Step 5: go round your mark with the bevel edge of chisel facing into check.

Step 6: Try your hinge in check making sure it is sitting in flat

Step 7: drill pilot holes and screw up

Step 8: repeat operation with bottom hinge.

Step 9: Measure down door frame the distance from top of door to bottom of top hinge

Step 10: usually 225mm with a 75mm hinge

Step 11: square across on standard and knock a 40mm brad in on your mark

Step 12: measure in the width or your hinge and knock in another brad

Step 13: this gives your hinge something to sit on

Step 14: it also help if you knock one in width of bottom hinge to

Step 15: put one screw in each hinge.

Step 16: Take out brads and try door shut

Step 17: it should shut fine apart from closing edge

Step 18: you need to check out standard now

Step 19: draw round hinges once again unscrew and repeat process checking out hinges.
