How to Keep Media in Your iPhone's Notes out of the Photos App

Step 2: Scroll down and tap Notes.
This is in the fifth group of options from the top of the page. , It should turn grey, indicating that any photos or videos you take using the Notes app won't save as copies to your Photos app.
If this button is already grey, your iPhone isn't saving media taken in Notes to the Photos app. -
