  1. Step 1: Activate the International keyboard in Windows.

    The Control Panel, available from the Start menu, houses the Regional and Language Options.

    Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, then click the Change Keyboards button.

    The United States-International keyboard is available under the English (United States) entry, and will provide what you need.

    Choose this keyboard, click the OK button, and then close all associated windows.
