Step 1: Collect a Key from a Chao Box in Story Mode (if you wish to create a Hero Chao
To collect the key, locate a blue box with a Chao on it and break it open.
Pick up the key in the same manner that you would pick up a ring and continue the level. -
Step 2: collect a Key as Sonic
Enter by going straight.
