  1. Step 1: Start Minecraft.

    You can use the Minecraft Launcher to load earlier versions of Minecraft.

    You must be running version
    1.6 or later to access this option.

    You can use this method to play all the way from the latest "snapshot" to Minecraft Classic.

    To player earlier versions, see one of the following sections.
  2. Step 2: Click the Profile Editor tab.

    Click the Edit Profile button.

    This will open a new window. , Click the “Use version” menu and select the version that you would like to load.

    Press Save Profile. , You will not be able to connect to servers that are running a different version, but you can play single player or on servers that run your version.
  3. Step 3: Select your version.

  4. Step 4: Restart the launcher and start your game.
