Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Open up Scratch.

    If you don't have Scratch on your desktop download it from here: http://scratch.mit.edu/scratch_1.4/
  2. Step 2: Delete the cat on the screen by moving your mouse over it and then right clicking

    , Next to it find a Paint brush button, a little Folder button,and a Question mark button , Several Folder buttons will pop up. ,,, Click 'Control'.

    A menu will come on the right place of your screen.

    At the top see when flag is clicked.

    Drag that into an empty space in scripts. ,,,,,,, when space key pressed into the scripts panel ,,, Click OK ,,,, That is how to make a simple car game on scratch!

  5. Step 5: Click the Folder button in the middle.

  6. Step 6: Double click a folder.

  9. Step 9: Look at the left-hand-corner and find lots of buttons.

  10. Step 10: Search for the forever part in controls and connect to when flag clicked in scripts.

  13. Step 13: On the scripts panel Click the ten on move 10 steps Press backspace Change the ten to 3.

  23. Step 23: Connect 'Move 10 steps' to when receive ("your broadcasts name").

  24. Step 24: Go to operators and drag random 1 to 10

  25. Step 25: Drag it onto the ten on the move ten steps.
