  1. Step 1: Put your exercise ball in an open area.

    You should have plenty of free space to move around, and all sharp/heavy objects should be removed so as to minimize the potential for accidents.
  2. Step 2: Lie on your back on the floor.

    It may be more comfortable to lay on a yoga mat if you are uncomfortable on the floor.

    Put your calves on the fitness ball so that your thighs are perpendicular to your torso.

    Clasp your hands together behind your head.

    Inhale and you should now be in a neutral position.
