If you want to upgrade to a better hatchet, your character must meet the wield requirements. -
Step 2: Check on the wield requirements.
Click on the Stats button and the Woodcutting icon.
Use the Tools option from the drop down menu.
Level 1:
Dwarven army axe (members only) and iron hatchet Level 6:
Steel and black hatchets Level 21:
Mithril hatchet Level 31:
Adamant hatchet Level 41:
Rune hatchet Level 61:
Dragon and inferno adze ,,, -
Step 3: Know that different woodcutting levels must be met before chopping a specific kind of tree down.
