  2. Step 2: Fold the left and right flaps so they meet in the middle.

    A squash fold means that you open up a fold and kind of squash it open. , Repeat this step on the other flap. ,, Be careful while doing this because the piece can unravel.

    In order to prevent this, you can glue the flaps down to the piece if you wish. ,,
  3. Step 3: Flip the base over and repeat the previous step.

  4. Step 4: Fold the top left and right flaps down so they meet in the middle.

  5. Step 5: Fold the right flap up so it meets the edge of the paper.

  6. Step 6: Make a squash fold on the left flap so it is open and lies flat.

  7. Step 7: Make a mountain fold on one of the squashed flaps so it folds back in between the two faces of the piece.

  8. Step 8: Flip the piece over and repeat steps 4-7.

  9. Step 9: Reach into the inside of the piece and open it carefully with your fingers so it forms a bulb shape.
