How to Add Movie File to PowerPoint

   Step 1: Open the ppt file.

   go to insert, select "movies and sounds."

   Step 2: Select movie from file

   Now you can re-position the icon. , Default powerpoint settings will embed any files up to 100k in size.
   
   Larger files will only be be linked to.
   
   If you want to increase the size, open the ppt file, go to tools, options and then select general.
   
   In the line "link sounds with file size greater than" change the size to 50000k.
   
   Now you will be able embed the movie file up to 50000k.

   Step 3: and select the movie file from the source.

   Step 4: Right click the icon and select "customize animation" to set the play options.
