Step 1: Open a PDF document in Adobe Reader.
Do so by opening the red Adobe Reader app with the stylized, white A icon.
Then click on File in the menu bar at the top of the screen, click on Open..., select the PDF document to which you want to attach a file and click on Open.
If you don't already have Adobe Reader, it's available for free from https://get.adobe.com/reader and can be used with Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems. -
Step 2: Click on Tools.
It's in the upper-left corner of the window. , It's a text bubble icon in the upper-left part of the window. ,, The pointer will turn into a paper clip icon. ,,, Use the dialog box to adjust the icon that will represent the attached file in the PDF, its color, and its opacity. ,, Your attached file is now saved in the PDF document. -
Step 3: Click on Comment.

Step 4: Click on the paper clip icon next to a "+" in the toolbar at the top of the window.

Step 5: Click on Attach File.

Step 6: Click on the location in the PDF where you'd like to attach the file.
