Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Install Pidgin on your Windows or Linux-based operating system/computer.

    It can be downloaded from it's company's website.

    Pidgin does not operate on a Macintosh computer.

    It will only run on computers operating on a Windows operating system.

    Click the Download button and follow the prompts on screen to complete.
  2. Step 2: Recognize that each time you start Pidgin

    But for now, you'll need to Start Pidgin and Make yourself "Available" in the drop-down at the bottom of the buddy list. , From the Buddy List, select Manage Accounts.

    Add an IRC server to the account.
