How to Change Contact Name on WhatsApp
Open WhatsApp., Tap the Chats tab., Tap the box with a pencil., Tap a contact., Tap their name., Tap Edit., Tap your contact's name., Type in a new name., Tap Done.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp.

If this is your first time opening WhatsApp on your phone, you'll need to first set up WhatsApp. -
Step 2: Tap the Chats tab.
