How to Compare Images in FastStone Image Viewer

Start up FastStone Image Viewer., Select your images., Click on the Comparator icon., Compare the image's histograms and Exif information. , Choose what you want to do with your images., Move your images around., Close out the Comparator.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Start up FastStone Image Viewer.

    For the purposes of this tutorial, three images have been selected in the screenshot. , This will bring you to a 100% view of your chosen images. ,, You can:
    Zoom in and out Best Fit 1:1 (100 % view) View at Full Screen Copy to Folder...

    Move to Folder...

    Delete , To compare a part different from your initial view, just click on one of the images and move it around. , When done, click on Close at the upper right hand corner and go back to the original view.
  2. Step 2: Select your images.

  3. Step 3: Click on the Comparator icon.

  4. Step 4: Compare the image's histograms and Exif information.

  5. Step 5: Choose what you want to do with your images.

  6. Step 6: Move your images around.

  7. Step 7: Close out the Comparator.
