How to Convert .mkv Files to .avi

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Download Avisynth

   Note:
   VirtualDub does not need to be installed, you only have to unzip it to a folder. ,, Then the line within the quotation marks ("mymovie.mkv") must be replaced with the name of your movie.

   Step 6: Move MyMovie.avs (the .avs file above) into the same folder as your video file (let us call it "yourmovie.mkv").

   Step 9: Drag MyMovie.avs file onto VirtualDub.

    Step 10: The beginning of your video should be shown on the screen.
