Step 1: Allow yourself 30 to 60 minutes to complete the project.
This will include 30 to 60 stems of your chosen flowers for your bouquet (this can be closer to 20 to 40 for the bridesmaid bouquets); waxed floral tape or rubber bands; a wire cutter, as most silk stems use wire underneath the plastic portion of the stem; ribbon in a color that will compliment the dresses and/or décor; and straight pins or corsage pins (pearl topped pins will look the best)., Make sure that they are at an even height as they will create the center of your floral dome.,, Add a second binding approximately two inches from the bottom of the stems.,,, Work your way down the base of the flowers until you get to the end.
Cover the tips of your flowers, and then work your way back up the stems to the top.
Once there trim your ribbon as needed and tuck into the binding/top ribbon.
Secure the top of the ribbon with pins pushed both into the ribbon and the stems. , If adding the pins for appearance, make sure that they are spaced evenly. -

Step 11: Tuck the end of the ribbon into your top floral tape or rubber band binding and start wrapping your stems.

Step 12: Add additional pins down the length of the bouquet as desired to secure the ribbon and part of the design.
