Step 1: Form a group of 6 people.
There should be a set of 3 people on each side that faces the other set.
Each set should have 2 men or 2 women on the end and the opposite gender in the middle. -
Step 2: Join up in a circle.
The following dance should be done to the song "The Dashing White Sergeant."
, The middle person should turn the other person around once with his or her right hand.
Repeat this with the person on the left.
In both cases, the non-participating partner remains still. , This should be done twice to each partner. ,, One line forms arches with their arms raised and the other dances underneath. , -
Step 3: Circle around to the left for 8 steps and back to the right (first eight bars of the song).
