   Step 1: Go to the end of the distortion world.

   Giratina can be found at the end of the distortion world.

   Step 2: Beat the first seven gyms to have access to Spear Pillar & the Distortion World.

   Unlike its counterparts, Dialga & Palkia, Giratina has an EXTREMELY low catch rate, & it will only last 30 turns in battle.
   
   Also, 2 of its moves sometimes raise ALL its stats at once, making it progressively harder to catch. , Unfortunately, It is part Ghost-Type, & thus is not affected false swipe. , If you fail to catch it, there is hope. ,,,,

   Step 3: Put it to sleep with hypnosis or spore

   Step 4: & get it as close to 1 HP as possible.

   Step 5: Use your favorite poke-balls on it

   Step 6: (dusk balls are useful here).

   Step 7: Train your Pokémon & defeat the Pokémon League.

   Step 8: go to Spring Path Along the route that connects Veilstone & Pastoria.

   Step 9: Keep going in the same direction until you find Giratina

    Step 10: now in its altered form.

    Step 11: Keep beating the Elite Four until you catch it.
