  1. Step 1: Go to Tumblr's website.

    It's located at https://www.tumblr.com/.

    If you're signed in on your browser, this will take you to your Tumblr home page.

    If you aren't signed into Tumblr, enter your email address and password, then click Sign in.
  2. Step 2: Click your profile icon.

    This person-shaped button is in the top-right corner of the page. , It will be beneath the "TUMBLRS" heading about halfway down the profile drop-down menu. , This option is in the upper-right side of the page, just below the Drafts and Posts sections. , It's to the right of the "Website Theme" heading that's below your profile picture. , You'll see this option near the top-left side of the page. , To do so, simply scroll up or down on the column of themes that's on the left side of the page, then click a theme you like to preview it in the context of your Tumblr's content.

    You can sort themes by clicking ALL THEMES at the top of this section and then clicking a sorting option (e.g., Premium, Free, Two column, etc.). , It's in the top-right corner of the Themes bar. , This option is in the same place as was Use.

    Doing so will apply it to your Tumblr; your blog will change to reflect your selected theme on all platforms.

    You may also customize your theme's settings, such as the default colors and text size, here.

    If you're purchasing a theme, you'll instead click Purchase and then enter your card details in the ensuing pop-out menu.

    You can also click Use PayPal at the bottom of the window to pay through PayPal.
