How to Get iFile

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Connect the iOS device to your computer using a USB cable.

   iTunes will launch shortly after recognizing your device.
   
   If your iOS device is already jailbroken, follow the steps outlined in Part Two to install iFile.
   
   If you want to install iFile without jailbreaking your device, follow the steps outlined in Part Three to install iFile.

   Step 2: Click on your iOS device displayed in the left sidebar of iTunes.

   , All personal data on your device will be wiped and erased during the jailbreaking process. ,, For example, you may be required to download evasi0n on iOS 6 and later, and Absinthe 2 for iOS 5 and earlier. , When your device has been successfully jailbroken, Cydia will display in the app tray. , All personal data you backed up earlier will load back onto your jailbroken iOS device. ,,, This allows Cydia to install apps from the Hack Your iPhone source.
   
   Alternately, you can type “ihackstore.com/repo/” into the URL field if you prefer to install iFile from iHackStore.,, For example, if you chose to add the “Hack Your iPhone” source to Cydia, select the iFile app associated with this particular source. ,,, The iFile app will now display in your app tray.,, The app will install and display on the Home screen of your iOS device. ,, The app will install on your iOS device shortly without requiring you to jailbreak the device.If there are multiple “iFile” apps available, select the app with the highest star rating.
   
   If you encounter technical difficulties with installing iFile without jailbreaking your device, consider installing comparable apps with features similar to iFile, such as iFileExplorer and Drop Copy.

   Step 3: Select the option to back up your iOS device.

   Step 4: Close iTunes when the backup process is complete.

   Step 5: Download and install the appropriate jailbreak software for your iOS device based on your firmware version.

   Step 6: Follow the on-screen prompts in the jailbreak software to finish jailbreaking your iOS device.
