How to Join a Drag Event in Need for Speed

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Launch the game.

   You can launch the game from the Start Menu (Start Button >> All Programs >> Electronic Arts >> Need for Speed Carbon) or from the desktop by double-clicking its icon.

   Step 2: Press Enter once the game loads.

   You will be directed to the main menu. , Do this by simply pressing Enter. , This will take you to your most recently accessed Safe House.
   
   A Safe House is a hideout in the game where you can escape the cops, view the World Map, and manage your cars. , This will allow you to view a map of the city with all the events currently available.
   
   The map is demarcated into territories, each of which are controlled by a rival racing crew in NFS Carbon. , Use the Left, Right, Up, and Down Arrow keys to scroll between different territories on the map, and press Enter to select a territory.
   
   This will allow you to browse all events available in that territory. , Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to scroll all events in the territory you selected.
   
   Types of events include drags, circuits, sprints, and checkpoints.
   
   When you find a drag event, press Enter to select it.
   
   A message will pop up asking you to whether you wish to jump to that event. , This will take you to the drag event. , To drive, use the Up Arrow key (acceleration), Down Arrow key (brake/reverse), Left Arrow key (steer left), and Right Arrow key (steer right).
