Step 1: Sit with your right side facing away from your audience.
For the illusion to be effective, your audience should not be able to see the right side of your head. -
Step 2: Hold a cigarette in your right hand
Note that the index finger is also known as the "forefinger" or "pointer finger."
The left hand doesn't actually do anything in the trick.
It's just a decoy to get your audience to concentrate on what's happening in front of you. ,,,, Count aloud and dramatically. ,,,, Note the outstretched left hand, to which your audience's attention will (hopefully) be drawn.]]Quickly slip the cigarette behind your right ear.
This is the only difficult part of the trick, but it's easily mastered with practice. ,, -
Step 3: between your thumb and index finger.

Step 4: Hold your left hand out in front of you

Step 15: The cigarette being slipped behind the ear.
