Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Spray paint PVC pipe.

    You can skip this step but a colorful balance pipe is a nice enhancement to your balance board.

    Allow for ample dry time (overnight).
  2. Step 2: Decorate board.

    Another optional step, but one that should be completed before assembly.

    Paint board and add grip tape now. , If necessary, grab a tape measure to identify center.

    Mark 2 places where you will drill holes for the PVC pipe , Drill through the marks you made with the pencil. , Line up holes to match the 2 holes you just drilled in the deck and drill matching holes in the PVC pipe. , Consider using a wrench to tighten the bolts--you don’t want these becoming loose. ,
  3. Step 3: Mark a place directly in the middle of the board (underneath) with your pencil.

  4. Step 4: Drill completely through the skateboard deck.

  5. Step 5: Drill through the PVC pipe.

  6. Step 6: Line up PVC pipe holes with deck holes and secure with bolts
