Step 1: Preheat the oven to 160ºC.
Line the baking trays with baking paper. -
Step 2: Place the butter and icing sugar into a medium bowl.
Beat until pale and creamy in texture. ,, Keep mixing until the flour forms a dough.
Roll into a ball and cover in plastic wrap.
Place the wrapped ball into the fridge to chill. , Roll to a thickness of 5 mm. , Place each star onto the trays and put into the freezer for 15 minutes to set by chilling. , Place in the oven and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden in colour. , Transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completely. -
