How to Open XPS Files

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Double-click on the XPS file you want opened.

   The file will automatically open and display in a new window of your Internet browser.
   
   If the file fails to open, it’s possible XPS Viewer is turned off.
   
   Proceed with the following steps to enable XPS Viewer.

   Step 2: Click on Start and select “Control Panel.” This will open the Control Panel window.

   ,, If Microsoft .NET Framework is not listed, follow the steps outlined in Method Two to install the program on your computer. ,

   Step 3: Click on “Programs” and select “Turn Windows features on or off.” This will open the Windows Feature dialog box.

   Step 4: Click on the plus sign displayed to the left of “Microsoft .NET Framework.” This will display additional options.

   Step 5: Place a checkmark next to “XPS Viewer
