Step 1: Cut two sheets of wax paper.
Make them larger than the piece of fern to be pressed. , Place the fern onto this sheet.
Place the other paper over the fern, again making sure the wax faces the fern. , Printer paper is fine. , If you're using a steam iron, remove the water.
Set at a low setting and don't use steam. , Iron for a minute or two then lift the paper to check its progress.
If needed repeat this until your fern is dry. , Remove the pressed fern.
It will look shiny or not, depending on the type of fern you used. -
