Step 1: Click Start --> Control Panel --> System and Security.
Click on the link ‘Back up Your Computer’ under the category to start the backup process. -
Step 2: In the section Back up or restore your files window
, Select the recommended drive, and click on Next at the bottom of the Window.
When the desired drive is found click refresh until it appears. , If the first option is selected Windows will create two backup types in this operation, one being a system image and the other being a backup of the data files in libraries. (Please note backup of any file shouldn’t be bigger than 1GB).
Normally, in such cases selecting the second option, which is ‘Let me choose’ is always readily recommended. , Once you are done, click the Next button to proceed further. , On confirmation all required things are selected, click the ‘Save settings and run backup’ to initiate the backup , -
