How to Root the HTC Desire

   Step 1: Navigate to HTC’s website at http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader to unlock the bootloader on your HTC Desire.

   Step 2: Select the model of your HTC Desire from the “Supported Devices” dropdown menu.
