Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Download the latest stable versions of Ubuntu and XBMC.

    In this article we will be using Ubuntu
    14.04.1 and XBMC "Gotham"
    13.2.

  2. Step 2: You can either choose to rip the ISO file downloaded to the DVD itself

    It is however recommended that the XBMC set up for Linux is placed on the USB drive.

    Once you do that; Insert the Ubuntu ISO's DVD or plug in the bootable Ubuntu USB drive Boot up the computer At the Welcome Screen, choose "Install Ubuntu"
