Step 1: Understand that Mac sleeps completely when the front light start blinking.
Check it again to see before proceeding. -
Step 2: Go to Application/Utilities/Terminal
,, Normally it could related to old print jobs, IP config, Airport. , For example you could delete old print jobs in System Preferences/Print and Fax/Open print queue.. ,,,, If you want disable this "safe sleep"
follow up below tasks.
Leave this if you do not understand what are you doing! ,, You are done! Check the sleep speed again, it should be about 3-5 seconds to sleep now. -
Step 3: run terminal.

Step 4: Type "pmset -g log" in Terminal.

Step 5: On the log lost

Step 6: find domains which has "applicationresponse.slowresponse".

Step 7: Fix the slow responding domains.

Step 8: Sleep your Mac and open again.

Step 9: Type "pmset -g log" in Terminal again and check is there still has "applicationresponse.slowresponse"

Step 10: Repeat above step until you could reduce as much "slow respond" as you can.

Step 11: You could see some line such as "Signature: hibernatemode=3 - UUID: XXXXX... - Time to write image (ms): 10176" this is means your Mac hibernate mode is in mode 3 or "safe sleep".

Step 12: Type "sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0" in Terminal enter and than supply admin password

Step 13: if you do not have one contact your administrator.

Step 14: Congratulations!
