How to Tag Posts on SocialCast

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Go to your community in your web browser by navigating to your community URL.

   The URL will be your community name followed by “.socialcast.com”.
   
   For example, if your community name was “ExampleWiki”, your URL would be “ExampleWiki.socialcast.com”.

   Step 2: Enter the email address and password associated with your community.

   Do not use any spaces in between the “#” and your tag or between words within your tag (if your tag is a phrase or grouping of words, for example). ,,

   Step 3: Enter the text for your post in the “Share something…” text box at the top of the page.

   Step 4: Type “#” (without the quotation marks) followed by your tag.

   Step 5: Click the “Share” button to publish your post with the tags included.

   Step 6: Add tags to a post that has already been published by clicking the small cog icon to the right of any post followed by “Edit this message” from the contextual menu.
