Step 1: Transfer Your Pattern Onto Your Rug Hooking Backing...
Choose something in the “primitive” style.

Step 2: Find a pattern that you’ll enjoy hooking.

Step 4: place the tulle over your pattern and trace the entire design with a pencil… you can use a permanent marker

Step 7: take the tulle and lay it over your backing fabric and pen it into place.
