   Step 1: Transfer Your Pattern Onto Your Rug Hooking Backing...

   Choose something in the “primitive” style.

   But where ever you find that first couple of designs, start with something easy.

   Step 4: place the tulle over your pattern and trace the entire design with a pencil… you can use a permanent marker

   Step 5: but you’ll be marking on your pattern too.

   Step 6: Transfer Image To Backing Next

   Step 7: take the tulle and lay it over your backing fabric and pen it into place.

   Step 8: take a permanent marker and trace the pencil lines that are on the tulle… the marker will penetrate the tulle and come through onto the backing.
