Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Start at the arrow triangle head.

    Use Rounded Rectangle tool, set it at size 500x500 pixels corner radius 20 pixels
  2. Step 2: Make to a triangle shape by use Delete Anchor Point Tool

    Click at the square and then click at the point that shown on picture, you will get and triangle. , Use Rounded Rectangle tool, set it at size 600x400 pixels corner radius 20 pixels ,, from this picture I set it to black( the main arrow ), blue(the outer arrow) and red (arrow shadow) ,,,,,, About the shadow, colored it in the same color of the blue one and also make it transparent approximately 80 percent , You will got a blur shadow. ,
  3. Step 3: rotated your square for angle 45.

  4. Step 4: Create a new rectangle to be your arrow body.

  5. Step 5: Position your rectangle like in the picture and then selected both of it and go to pathfinder and click the Add to Shape Area button to combine all two pieces into one and then click expand

  6. Step 6: Copy your arrow for three pieces and set it in different colors to make it easy to understand.

  7. Step 7: Set your blue under the black one and extend it like in a picture

  8. Step 8: use Direct selection tool and moved the points to right position (as shown on a picture)

  9. Step 9: Selected a red one and place it like in a picture

  11. Step 11: send it to back by click it and press right click>Arrange>Send to back

  12. Step 12: Colored the main arrow by use Gradient Tool

  13. Step 13: set the colors to the following: first color at position R = 101

  14. Step 14: G = 197

  15. Step 15: B =220; second color at position R = 92

  16. Step 16: G = 192

  17. Step 17: B = 217; third color at position

  18. Step 18: R = 72

  19. Step 19: G = 151

  20. Step 20: B = 197 set the stroke White by weight 4 pt

  21. Step 21: Copied it for one piece and created a rectangle and set it on a middle to top of an arrow

  22. Step 22: selected all and go to Pathfinder click on the Subtract from Shape Area button and then click expand

  23. Step 23: Position it lie in a picture

  24. Step 24: after that

  25. Step 25: colored a blue one by following at position R = 19

  26. Step 26: G = 116

  27. Step 27: B = 158

  28. Step 28: Make a highlight and shadow for your arrow by use Rounded Rectangle tool

  29. Step 29: crated it in a long and thin size and set it on the border of the arrow colored it to White and then make it transparent approximately 60 percent.

  30. Step 30: Created a back shadow by colored it at position R = 128

  31. Step 31: G = 128

  32. Step 32: B = 128

  33. Step 33: Selected this part and go to Effect>Blur>Gaussian Blur>Radius 16 pixels.

  34. Step 34: Finished.
