  1. Step 1: http://registry.gimp.org/node/18522 .

    Install it to the following folder:
    C:\Program Files\GIMP\share\gimp\2.0\scripts
  2. Step 2: Open Gimp.

    ,, A menu will appear.

    Select Script-Fu > Blur > Lightsaber.

    Click on it.An options box will come up.

    Select the desired Colour and Width of the lightsaber, and click OK. , You will now have a lightsaber.

    Please Note:
    In some High Contrast photos, this effect won't always be visible.

    To fix this, simply undo the effect, open the options again, and tick the box "alpha mode".
  3. Step 3: Create a selection slightly smaller than the desired with of the lightsaber 'blade'.

  4. Step 4: right-click on your selection.

  5. Step 5: Wait for the script to do it's work - Taa Da!
