   Step 1: Turn the bedspring so that large spring is on a flat surface and the smaller side is facing upward.

   Make sure the area is free from small children or pets and has enough light so you can see what you are doing. , Make sure you are wearing protective gloves and safety glasses. , Make sure the part that you solder is the back of the clip so you can open and close the clip easily (and attach photos/paperwork etc.) to the clip.
