Step 1: Rinse glasses that have had milk in them in cold water prior to washing them in the usual dish washing water.
If the glasses are placed straight into the hot water, the heat will cook the proteins in causing them to adhere to the glass.
While you can clean this off with elbow grease and scrubbing, it's much harder work than it needs to be. -
Step 2: Allow glasses to air dry after washing in the dishwasher.
This avoids adding streaks or fluff from a tea towel or paper towel.
