  1. Step 1: Zoom in closer and enlarge the images by manipulating the +/- signs at the lower left of your screen.

    You are enlarging all of the wave forms to more precisely line up the two tracks.
  2. Step 2: Look for the spikes.

    The spikes are created intentionally by something that creates a sharp sudden sound, like clapping your hands or blowing a whistle.
