    If Messenger opens up to a conversation, tap the back button in the upper-left corner to get back to the Home page.

    This will take you to the to your Messenger inbox, where all of your conversations are stored.

    For iPhone, this button is the tiny house icon in the lower-left corner of your screen.

    For Android, this is the clock icon on the left-hand side of the bar at the top of your screen under the Search field. , You will see options to Mute, Delete and More. , This is the red button with an X mark on it. , Doing this will permanently delete all conversation history between you and your contact.
  3. Step 3: Swipe left on a conversation.
