Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Cut a rectangle out of your tissue paper large enough to covers the middle of the greeting card.

    The spring will rip the pouch open and throw the glitter forwards.

    Without it the glitter will fall directly to the floor and won't have too much impact. , Glue the spring pouch right in the middle of the card so it's not detectable.

    If it's too far back the spring won't work, and if it's too far forward it will be noticed. ,, Now that you've spring loaded your glitter greeting card, it's ready to pop into an envelope and burst.
  2. Step 2: Glue down the 3 edges of the rectangle and fold it in half to make a packet.

  3. Step 3: Glue down the 2 edges and fold them over again to make sure the glitter won't escape.

  4. Step 4: Fill the packet to around a quarter with glitter.

  5. Step 5: Glue down the opened edge and fold over.

  6. Step 6: Flatten out the packet and check it for leaks.

  7. Step 7: Cut a strip of paper twice the width of your pouch and a little short in height so it fits nicely between the folds.

  8. Step 8: Cover 1 side of the paper strip with glue.

  9. Step 9: Stick the paper strip round both sides of the pouch.
