How to Use the Double Lift Technique

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Hold the deck in the basic mechanics grip.

   (thumb on the long side, pinky, ring, and middle finger on the opposite side, and the index finger on top).

   Step 2: Establish a pinky break two cards down from the top.

   ,, Make sure that you hold the cards so they appear to be only one card.
   
   The audience should now believe that they are seeing the top card not the second to top. , Then put the top card into the middle. , , Application to other tricks:

   Step 3: Grab the top two cards of the deck while saying the top card

   Step 4: we will use the ace of spades.

   Step 6: "The top card of this deck is the Ace of spades."

   Step 7: Flip the cards back and say

   Step 8: "I will now put the ace of spades into the deck."

    Step 10: "I shall now make the ace jump back to the top of the deck."

    Step 11: Flip the top card and if you did the trick cleanly the audience should be stunned.
