How to Add a Twitter Account to a Mac

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Click on the Apple icon.

   It's the Apple logo displayed at the top left corner of the main menu bar on your screen.

   Step 2: Click System Preferences.

   , It appears as a blue icon with an @ symbol.
   
   If you can't see the main menu, click the three rows of dots at the top left corner of the window, which displays as Show All in earlier versions of Mac OS X. ,,,,, Notifications from Twitter will now appear in your Notifications window, and you can share images and links directly from your Mac from the right click menu → Share → Twitter.
   
   Uncheck the box next to "Notifications" to disable Twitter Notifications.
   
   Uncheck the box next to "Share Menu" to remove Twitter from the Share menu.

   Step 3: Click the "Internet Accounts" icon.

   Step 4: Click on the Twitter logo in the pane on the right.
