How to Call a Phone Using Google+ Hangouts

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Launch an Internet browser.

   Double-click the icon of your preferred Internet browser on your desktop.

   Step 2: Go to Google+.

   Once the browser is open, type in plus.google.com on the address bar at the top of the screen and hit Enter.
   
   You’ll be taken to the website’s home page. , Enter your Google/Gmail account’s username and password on the fields provided then click “Sign in” to access your account. , This is on the upper-right corner of your Google+ home page.
   
   This will open the Hangouts panel on the right side. , Click the magnifying glass icon at the very top of the Hangouts panel to reveal a search bar. , This will allow you to enter phone numbers on the search bar.
   
   If the number you’re calling is outside your region, click on the country flag icon on the left side of the search bar and choose the country you’re about to make a call to from the drop-down menu. , A Hangout window will appear and dial the numbers you entered. , Once you’re connected through, you’ll be able to talk to with the person you’re calling. , Click the red phone icon on the Hangouts window once you’re done to disconnect the call.

   Step 3: Log into your Google+ account.

   Step 4: Click the Hangouts icon (closing quotation mark).

   Step 5: Open the search bar.

   Step 6: Click the phone icon on the right side of the search bar.

   Step 7: Click the phone icon displayed next to the number you typed in to start the call.

   Step 8: Wait for the call to connect.

   Step 9: End the call.
