Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Open your iPhone’s Settings.

    It’s the app showing a gray cog that can be found on one of your home screens.

    Settings may also be in a folder labeled “Utilities.”
  2. Step 2: Scroll down and tap iCloud.

    It’s in the fourth set of menu options. , It’s at the top of your screen. ,, It’s the first option below your Apple ID. , It’s located near the middle of your screen. ,,,, It’s in the upper-right hand corner.

    Your Apple ID birthday has been updated. , It's the big circle button at the bottom of your phone screen. , It's one of the apps on the bottom row of your phone screen.

    Note, if your primary Apple ID email account is not your iPhone's default Mail account, tap Settings+Mail, Contacts, Calendars + your primary Apple ID email account. ,, It should have been sent right after you changed your Apple ID birthday.

    The subject line should read: "Your Apple ID Information has been updated."
  3. Step 3: Tap on your Apple ID.

  4. Step 4: Sign in with your Apple ID account if prompted.

  5. Step 5: Tap Contact Information.

  6. Step 6: Tap Birthday.

  7. Step 7: Answer the two security questions and tap Verify if prompted.

  8. Step 8: Tap Birthday.

  9. Step 9: Select a new birth month

  10. Step 10: date and/or year.

  11. Step 11: Tap Done.

  12. Step 12: Press the Home button.

  13. Step 13: Tap on the Mail icon.

  14. Step 14: Tap Inbox on the upper left if you don't see it.

  15. Step 15: Tap the email from Apple.

  16. Step 16: Make sure the email confirms you made a change to your Apple ID birthday.
