  1. Step 1: Locate the text you want to copy.

    You can copy text nearly anywhere on your Android, such as in Chrome, Facebook, and messaging apps.
  2. Step 2: Tap and hold a word in the text you want to copy.

    The word should now be highlighted.

    You’ll also see two sliders on either side of the highlighted area. , Drag the first slider to the beginning of the text area, and the second slider to the end.

    The text you want to copy should now be highlighted. , It’s right above the highlighted area.

    The highlighting and sliders will disappear, but the text is now copied.

    If you don’t see “Copy,” tap the icon at the top of the screen that looks like two overlapping sheets of paper. , You can paste it anywhere that allows you to enter text (e.g. email, Google, social media, etc). , You can release your finger when the “Paste” button appears. , The copied text will now appear.
