Step 1: Download and install another web browser that you'd like to use directly from the web.
There are many to choose from, and, depending on company and features, there are a multitude of programs out there that will help guide you through the rest of the Internet. -
Step 2: Turn on your computer and login to the account that you would like to disable Internet Explorer from.
,, If there is no such setting by that name, you can easily find it elsewhere in Windows. , This will open up another dialog box. ,, This should open up a place where, you yourself can set whatever programs you'd like to enable/show/use. ,, And ensure that the other program you'd like to use remains enabled (checked). ,,,, This should list the available options you can choose from, such as My Documents, My Pictures, My Music, etc. ,, This will bring up yet another dialog box. , If the option for "Classic Menu" is highlighted, you don't need to read any further.
Close these boxes and cancel.
