  1. Step 1: Click the “App Store” icon in your dock to launch the Mac App store.

    Note:
    You will have to upgrade to at least Mac OS X
    10.6.7 using Software Update to access the Mac App Store.
  2. Step 2: Search for app name in the search bar in the upper right corner of the Mac App Store or browse through the sections to find the app you want to download.

    Free apps will have a “Free” button followed by a green “Install App” button. , Note:
    If you do not yet have an Apple ID, click the “Create Apple ID” button and follow the onscreen instructions to create one.
  3. Step 3: Click the title of the app you wish to download to go to its download page.
