  2. Step 2: Consume no more than 20 grams of net carbohydrates each day for 2 weeks.

    The carbohydrates you do consume should come from vegetables, such as lettuce, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini and peas. , The protein choices are vast since the program participant can choose from all types of beef, veal, poultry, fish and shellfish.

    If you trim the fat from the meat prior to cooking, add olive oil to the pan to replace the fat. , You can choose from club soda, water, tea and coffee.

    The tea and coffee must be decaffeinated.
